ISSMA ORGANIZATIONAL NEXT FRIDAY APRIL 12th, 2019
ALL High School band students should stay after school.
We will leave school at 3:45pm and travel to Columbus North by school bus. All students will return by 11:15pm.
Students should wear concert black.
This is a REQUIRED EVENT
Parents/Families are allowed to attend. Attendance is free. Students must ride the bus up with the group, but can ride with parents with a written note.

A new fundraiser running from April 15-26th. Info will be sent home with students in class after Organizational Contest. Info will also be available on band website
Replacement for now defunct Henryville Jazz Fest
Tuesday May 21st 2019, Time TBA (pm) at the Calumet Club in New Albany

Required for all current 9th, 10th, & 11th grade band students
June 2nd, 6pm in SCHS Main Gym

Holiday World Parent Chaperone Sign up
The link above is for any parent who is interested in serving as a chaperone for the annual Band/Choir Holiday world trip. The date of the trip is Tuesday, May 28. Other details for chaperones is listed in this form. We will take the first 20 who complete the form. Student sign ups will open on or after April 16.
Mattress Sale Fundraiser
This is a fundraising event to raise money for the band program. There will be an incentive toward the Holiday World trip and/or Marching Band fees - more details on that later. This link is a way for you to sign up to help the setup and tear down if possible. It’s an easy fundraiser where you don’t have to sell anything! Simply help during the event. :-)

2:00 - 2:45 MS Bands (6th, 7th, 8th grade bands and MS Jazz Band)
3:00 - 4:00 Choirs (All MS & HS Choirs and Handbell Choirs)
4:30 - 5:30 HS Bands (Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, & HS Jazz Bands)
Free and open to the public
camp for any incoming 8th/9th grade students is May 6th - 10th from 3-5pm.
Lots of info will be sent home with students in the coming days

Band Banquet RSVP
April 28th 2019 at the Sellersburg American Legion. 4-6pm. Cost is $3 to cover cake and such.
Banquet is a time when awards for band programs are presented as well as the reveal for next year’s marching band show! Not required, but a good time for all!
